Omni Music Solutions (USA) is proud to announce the inaugural release of the APOCRYPHA series.
This purpose of the series is to introduce new and rising talent from the various genres (R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, etc.) and incorporate their vocal or musical talents into the underground dance music mainstream.
We kick-off the first release with a joint venture from two house music notaries: Soul Central icon producer/DJ Andy Ward, and Chicago house music producer Mr. Gershon Jackson. The UK producer brings his soulful magic to the project, as his remix will surely reaffirm his long-time tenured success in the business. After the success of the Mina Jackson “Pray” release, Gershon continues his assault on underground house music with high-quality productions over soulful grooves. Additional mixes from fast-rising Chicago-based remixers Kenny Carvajal and Pap Spencer (aka Black Mamba) round out this soulful package. “No Turning Back” is a must have for any serious house music DJ.
The featured artist here is Loryn “Cha’s” Kimbrough. Winner of Chicago’s 2008 Urban Talent Showcase, CHA’S (pronounced Chase) is a sexy & seasoned performer with unlimited vocal range and potential. She has also recorded two additional tracks for the Omni Music label, and with her superior vocal ability, one can only anticipate that CHA’s will be around for a long time.
