15 yrs down the line after first hearing his productions, this gentleman continues to be an inspiration to myself and many others world wide. An undisputed pioneer of UK house music.
I am so very honoured to have this guy join us for 2010.

RICKY MORRISON

As one half of M&S, this guy had some of the biggest underground hits of the 90′s and crossed over with Salsoul Nugget at the turn of the century. An amazing DJ that many will be seeing for the first time here in Spain.

Neil Pierce & Aaron Ross, my Soul Heaven partners in crime and the new face of quality UK productions.
Their personal edits and energetic style will set the place alight.

GROOVE ASSASSIN

Nick Moss made a name for himself with his firing re edits over the years, he now gains world wide success with his own productions and remixes for some of the biggest labels out there.
A great friend and DJ, his energy and enthusiasm behind the decks is infectious.

SCHOOLBOY

My partner in the Sunday Lockdown and one of my closest friends in the world. Having conquered the radio in the UK he is now one of Dubai’s leading lights on air for Radio 1.
Together we have shared some amazing memories and it’s just great to get to hang with him and hear his take on real house music.

DEEP CITY SOUL

Owen Taylor and Matt McKillop. Again, relative new kids on the block but they have taken the torch and ran with it, putting out some amazing productions and remixes with one absolute killer track forthcoming for 2010.

THE HOUSEBOX ALLSTARS

Ramon Lopez of Balearic Soul, together with his crew Baby J, Alvaro Villa & Kebra are amongst the strongest talent in Spain.
Their set last year was cut cruelly short so we look forward to hearing them unleash their frustration this year, with what is sure to be a killer performance.

SOUL RENEGADES

Craig Smith & Ricky Reid sprang onto the production circuit last year with their works on Restless Soul music.
Track after track , they continue to flourish and their DJ set is sure to be just as great, I know this after having played alongside Craig on many occasions for Soul Heaven.

DEEP JOSH

My Murcian brother, another of Spain’s finest DJs and arguably a master of the studio.
His take on the soulful sound brings energy and passion to make up for his shiny head.

DANNY J LEWIS

“Spend the night” was an anthem in the mid 90′s and ever since Danny continues to put out quality record after firing remix. His Enzyme Black imprint is one of the finest labels to emerge from the UK in recent times. As a mini-seminar, Danny will be providing a 3 hour masterclass showcasing his productions skills for all the budding and established producers alike. An invaluable lesson right here.. this is worth the pass fee alone.

FAVOURITIZM

Sarah Foote is responsible for a lot of the hard work behind the scenes of the Southport Weekenders and supplier of many of the hot promos you hear on the Vocal Booth.

Partnering her this year will be Simon Reid, resident for MustHaveSoul, Dubai and the Southport after parties.

JULIAN BENDALL

Main man behind the amazing Bah Samba, we are happy to welcome him back for more of his antics and some beautiful latin influenced rhythms.  We might also let him on the mic again this year.

PATRICK SMOOVE

One of Birmingham’s finest, another inspiration for me when I first started many years ago. Our Ton-a-Grooves tape packs are collectors items amongst the 2nd city’s deep house heads.
His ear for a great record and seamless long blends will definitely grab people’s attention.

FIDIAS ABELLAN

His closing set at the Beach last year captured the whole essence of the party, this year we extend his set and let him loose once more.
I hope he brings his gold earphones again.

PAUL GROOVE

99 Carat Records boss, close friend and an integral part of the behind the scenes running of the Weekender.
Recently relocated to the UK after living here in Spain for several years, it will be great to bounce to his trademark sound once again.

GREG DORBAN

Reelgroove Records owner, producer and partner in Sounds of the Booth.
We launch a special compilation CD at this year’s event with some rather tasty surprises in store, Greg’s sound is definitely up there with the world’s finest.

PAUL GRIFF

Successfully promoting Uber parties for the last five years, and now presenting Vocal Booth collaborations in Birmingham, a fine young DJ with a mature head for music.
The talented graphic designer also behind all the Vocal Booth Weekender material.

MILES NUMAN

Representing Switzerland and Groovenite.com, a great producer and DJ who brings lots of his fellow countrymen along to enjoy the fun with us.

MAIK PEDERSON

A late addition to the line up last year which proved to be a great move, more European flavours for the dancefloor.

WIDENSKI

Estonian bad boy, a great DJ with the weirdest sense of humour but fun all the same. One of the few people that truly represents soul in the Baltic states.

DAN KELLY

Schooly & I taught him everything he knows and now he’s a local celebrity, leaving us in the shadows. Don’t let his Galaxy FM breakfast show fool you, this boy knows his house.

EUGE & GARY WARD

Days like This was the freshest thing to happen to Birmingham after some other Ward left there, together these guys continue to spread their soulful sound. I wonder if Euge will be living in Spain permanently by the time of the weekender.

KID CREOLE

Soul Free Records launched in 2010 and has already gotten people’s attention with its first releases. Last year ‘The Kid” rocked the pre party and is sure to bring back the same vibes this year.

DJP

The main man behind Pressure radio, hosts of the live chat every week on the show. A great set with his son Braderz in 2009 ensures he rocks out with us again all weekend.

BROTHER C

Presents a wonderful Saturday morning show consisting of heavenly vocals and broken beats, looking to hear more of the same from him live and direct.

SI SUTTON

His radio shows are legendary and his tune selection on point, another of the True Family members who will continue to make a name for himself this year.

MILOE

“Stretch” – his enthusiasm and performance way outweighs his stature. It’s rumoured he is a postman but there’s no way he can reach the letter boxes.

ALAN O’MALLEY

Representing Eire, we welcome back a man who travels the world faithfully supporting any fine house party that will have him. A true house head and a great DJ.

BLACKWAX

Ste Reed now branches out into production and has some great releases and remixes to date. Playing across the board, he rocked the pre party last year and we look forward to hearing more gems he has in store.

RICHARD FENN

The Northern Nutter. Under the thumb last year so he couldn’t make it, he won’t know what hit him ! Ever faithful supporter of the Vocal Booth and a great DJ. Welcome mate.

SIMEON CHARD

Host of the Lifted show, together with Rich E.P, Simeon returns to meet his friends he doesn’t get to chat with so often. Great DJ representing the South West.

SEAN DOYLE

Nothing I say will detract from the fact that he is ginger. Enough said. Emigrated to Australia because he was sick of the big boys bullying him. Give him a dig when you see him.

GORAN STARCEVIC

One of Serbia’s finest and a true lover of deep house music. I have played several times on the same bill as him and each time he rocks the house.

MARIUS IONITA

Responsible for most of my China gigs and some amazing parties over there, another great DJ who will travel thousands of miles to come and party with The Family. Personally, I think he is only coming for the chorizo.

RICHIE BARTHEZ

Is he any good ? Who cares… When Richie is around you know you have a party. I’m only booking him for his smile and energy ! Provides some amazing boogie & funk mixes that keep me company on my travels.

SNOOPY

One of the youngest DJs to grace the turntables of Studio 54 in NYC in the late 70′s. Living on the Costa Blanca and supplier of the amazing sound system this year, he will amaze you with his stories and musical knowledge. Don’t sit next to him if you need to be anywhere fast !

JAI SPENCE

Another strong supporter of the soulful sound in Birmingham and newest member of the Pressure Radio team, his passion for a good song is undeniable and he will love being part of the weekend once more.

LOGISTIX

J Phunk, Fabric Soul & Wayne Chambers are a young trio from Birmingham who are carving a name for themselves not only on the DJ circuit but also on the production scene. We welcome the young blood to the Family and look forward to their tight jeans and JLS outfits.

ASHLEIGH WEST

After the pressure got to him last year and he pulled out at the last minute, we have given him another chance to shine. One of THE crew from the beginning of the Acid house movement and one of the early residents of the Vocal Booth night when we relocated to Indi Bar in late 2000/2001.

DEEJAY ONEFOUR

A relative unknown to many of the Vocal Booth family, but one of Birmingham’s best kept secrets and brightest talents. The Birmingham crew know what to expect, another great ear for music this guy will enjoy his debut set.

ANDY ROBERTS

Continuing to bring you the pedigree from the second city, a DJ responsible for many of the finest nights at the start of the Acid House movement. Resident DJ for C.R.E.A.M alongside Patrick Smoove, Andy now lives on the Costa Blanca himself and will be let loose on the decks with a great selection of music.

LIL’ JOEY

Last but not least, we are happy to be able to invite Joey along to show why he gets to travel around Europe opening nights for Stonebridge with some deep, soulful sounds. Schooled in his youth by some genius on the radio in Birmingham (wonder who that could be?), he is bound to have good taste.

NATASHA WATTS

One of the busiest vocalists who has enjoyed huge success recently, Natasha will be joining us for her first Vocal Booth event and we are sure she will love it, almost as much as the crowd will vibe off her stage presence.

DIANA WAITE

Previous collaborations with Soul Central now seem such a long time ago, considering her impressive release list to date. Initially it looked like we wouldn’t enjoy her company this year due to a couple of freak accidents but we are happy to have her back with us.

KAYSEE

The opening voice of the Vocal Booth radio show, since last year’s event where she sang fully pregnant, we welcome her back to share some of her biggest tracks with the family and to show off her ‘latest release’.
