An extended, 3 hour show this week. Great wine-fuelled grooves, so expect me to tell you I love you a few times 🙂
Another two hours of just letting the tunes do the work. Boy oh boy… these shows are touching me. So is the wine !
Back to a regular show. Having done two hours yesterday I felt I’d said all I needed to say for this week so just let the music do most of the talking and I loved every single second of this.
Before the madness of VB kicks in, I just wanted to send a quick update about the Kickstarter Project.
Thanks to the help of 53 people, we have managed to raise the necessary funds to get the filming done this weekend. Respect and congratulations… you have made a very wise choice.
2 hours of tunes, joined live in the studio by Julian Bendall of Bah Samba.
It totally escaped me that it was the last show b4 VB (as daft as that sounds) when I asked Julian to join me… to be honest I don’t get the chance that often so although it isn’t the way I’d choose to do a final show before we are all together, I still wanted to do this one just as it came out.
This week’s show, and more geeky stuff for me to fanny about with.
Take a look at the Facebook Live Video here (before it gets taken down).
Not much more to say, my dinner is on the table xx
If you couldn’t care less for Vocal Booth Weekender, then there’s no need to read on. This will be of no interest to you at all xxx. A few months ago I asked people in the VB Family Facebook Group if they’d love a new VBW documentary to be filmed. The answer was an overwhelming YES. Two days ago I had the brainwave to put this project to the public….
This week I used two cameras, one for above the decks and one for my beautiful face for you to look into my eyes when I talked into the mic.
I had it working perfectly all weekend, then tested one other thing right before going on air and forgot to change it back, meaning that for the first 35 mins or so, anyone watching the live feed couldn’t hear any music or my voice when I changed camera.
Absolute massive knobber !!
A successful return to the airwaves for 2 hours of sweet vinyl nuggets.
Successful in the fact that I managed to broadcast on Pressure and on Ustream at the same time, so if you like looking at a pair of skinny wrists putting large black discs onto turntables for 2 hours, this show has it all 🙂
