3 hours of vinyl heat, quite literally. No more to say. I’m shagged.
One of Birmingham’s best known soulful house DJs and a true legend of the mid 90s talks about his musical history around the UK and beyond. Containing some pretty outstanding music, I talk to Patrick about how he was possibly THE biggest influence in my own journey and we have one or two hysterical moments of disagreement regarding the timeline.
After listening back to check it all flows properly (I only added music, none of the talk is edited), what’s clear is that this is as close to a gay love story you’ll ever get between two hetrosexual men. I cried at the end of it.
It’s a great day. England had a record of a day in the World Cup and I played some killer records. Listen to this one… I think it will make you happy.
