For the 6th release on Sounds of the Booth, we give you a taste of the UK underground.

Screama Simplicity and Vocals BM are well known on the UK music circuit, hailing from Birmingham. I was sent a demo of the original mix by Stuart Morton of Monkey Beats who thought I might be able to deliver this to a wider soulful house audience. He wasn’t wrong.

What I love about this track is the sentiment in the song and the great way it has been put together. I loved the original so much, that I simply reworked all of the original parts making it more floor friendly. It may sound a little fast at 130bpm to some, nothing a slight adjustment on the CDJ won’t fix !

If you prefer your music a little more laid back, then I suggest you check out the amazing remixes from Danny J Lewis. Slowed right down and laced with soul, these are sure to get the heads knodding and give the guys the exposure they deserve. A selection of mixes can be heard on the promo video below.
