04.04.2010 Vocal Booth Club Sessions, 53

Four months into 2010 and I finally get to recording my first studio mix… and I loved every second of it.   Maybe it’s because I hadn’t done a mix for some time, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing this and am very pleased with the result (I even put a note on Facebook about how much of a journey I thought this mix was)

02.04.2010 Vocal Booth 1.4.10

Talk about anti-climax ! I spent most of the day yesterday preparing my debut videcast on Ustream, only to realise it didn’t work the way I thought it did (or at least I haven’t figured it out right yet).
My idea was to use the camera while I used the mic for that total one-on-one experience, and then when the tracks were playing put up information on the artist or label while we continued to chat on line. However, due to the set up of the audio input, it meant that once the video camera wasn’t active, the music dropped out. Read on
